National identity attracts the younger generation...a jump in interest in Russian popular culture

Russian Deputy Minister of Culture, Zhanna Alekseeva, revealed that there has been a noticeable jump in youth interest in national culture and folk arts in conjunction with the activities of the “Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia.”
