In Malaysia, the spectacled langur, a species of monkey, is at the center of the concerns of several NGOs. It is in fact threatened by the fragmentation of its habitat with deforestation and urbanization, increasingly frequent contact with humans and their means of transport, and even poaching. To remedy these various problems on the Malaysian island of Penang, the conservation group Langur Project Penang is setting up aerial bridges with the aim of saving the species.
