Businesswoman arrested at the airport after joining the Interpol list
Larissa Nara Rezende was arrested for international drug trafficking.

Businesswoman Larissa Nara Rezende, 42 years old and born in Uberaba, was arrested on Friday (5) when she disembarked at Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo. According to the Federal Police (PF), she was on Interpol's red list due to a sentence of 8 years and 9 months in prison for financing international drug trafficking.
According to the PF, the arrest occurred during the disembarkation of a flight from London, England, as part of Operation "Cerco Fechado", which brings together integrated intelligence actions by the security forces.
Even though she was considered a fugitive, Larissa displayed a luxurious routine on social media, with international trips and visits to well-known places in the fashion world. The businesswoman also owns a clothing store in Uberaba.
g1 contacted Larissa's lawyer, Vitor Colucci Daher, but did not receive a response until the last update of the report.

Arrested after being identified in facial recognition at Fenamilho
A 34-year-old man wanted for not paying child support was arrested on Wednesday (3) during the National Corn Festival (Fenamilho), in Patos de Minas. He was identified by the artificial intelligence facial recognition system installed at the entrances to the Sebastião Alves do Nascimento Exhibition Park.
According to the Military Police (PM), the monitoring system issued an alert after identifying the suspect. Teams working at the site then found the man near the entrance to the exhibition park.
The police confirmed that there was an open arrest warrant against the man, issued by the Patos de Minas District Court and valid until June 2027. He was then taken to the Civil Police.
Fenamilho 2026 adopted facial biometrics registration as a requirement for access to the Exhibition Park. According to the organization, one of the objectives of the measure is to reinforce the security of the event, which receives thousands of people in its annual editions.

130 vehicles above the speed limit on BR-050
An inspection action by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) was impressive due to the high number of infractions in a short period of time on Sunday (7). In just an hour and a half, police portable radars caught almost 130 vehicles traveling above the permitted speed limit on BR-050, in Uberaba.
The incidents occurred during the return operation from the long holiday in Corpus Christi. According to the PRF, the volume of offending drivers raised an alert about the risk of serious accidents on the highways.
Among the images captured by static radars is that of a car that was recorded traveling at almost 200 km/h.
