The sale of 31 thousand 500 tons of dried tea, carried out by the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) through its subsidiary ÇAYTAŞ, came to the fore with allegations of "unsecured transaction", "fictitious invoice" and "public damage". In response to the claims of the opposition and some political representatives that there was irregularity, ÇAYKUR management announced that the transactions were carried out in accordance with the commercial legislation and corporate strategies.
