Goon plant, with the scientific name Astragalus, is one of the most important native plants of Iran from the family of legumes (Fabaceae), which grows in many regions of the country, including in Ilam province, due to its high adaptability to dry and semi-arid conditions. High-quality honey and incense are two valuable products of the unique "Goon" plant, and the properties of this plant are also widely used in chemotherapy.
