In Ivory Coast, the demolition on the basis of a false authorization of an entire district of the commune of Koumassi mobilizes the political class. On June 3 and 4, an individual, Jacques Brou, with supporting documents, had nearly 34 hectares of the Campement district razed. Overnight, several dozen families found themselves homeless, without businesses and without financial means. The public prosecutor announced the opening of an investigation and ordered the arrest of the author of the demolitions: but the political class wants to go further.
