With the 2026 Main Decree of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), the place of duty of 4 thousand 967 judges and prosecutors changed. With the decree, the Chief Public Prosecutor of 33 provinces and the commission chairmen of 27 provinces were also changed. 11 prosecutors and deputy chief prosecutors working in Istanbul were appointed to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. With the decree, 5 Regional Court of Justice chief prosecutors and 74 district and regional chief prosecutors were changed.
