Supervisory trustees were appointed to 13 companies, including Banvit, Erpiliç, Şenpiliç, Lezita Gıda. Detention orders were issued for 32 people. Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated the reason as "public complaints about price increases in the white meat industry, citizen denunciations and allegations about market functioning."
