JASRAC policy that both lyrics and music are AI-generated music “does not fall under copyright”

As music created using generated AI is rapidly spreading, JASRAC has published guidelines stating that works in which both lyrics and music are generated by AI based on simple instructions do not qualify as copyrighted works, as they are "works in which no human creative contribution is recognized."
