Elderly woman falls and hits her head after attempted robbery by a duo on a scooter in São José An 80-year-old woman fell and hit her head on the street after being approached by two criminals on an electric scooter in front of Parque Santos Dumont, in São José dos Campos. The case happened on Tuesday afternoon (9), on Rua Engenheiro Prudente Meireles de Moraes. Security camera footage recorded the suspects' actions and shows the moment the victim loses balance and falls after being approached. "I held on tight and he couldn't rob me. At that point, he jostled me and that's where I fell. I really hit my head. It was lucky that something worse didn't happen. It caused a bump, but that was it," he said. The elderly woman underwent medical examinations and, according to her, a CT scan did not show any more serious injuries. The victim chose not to file a police report.
