The World Cup is already moving Restinga, in Porto Alegre, which is preparing for a special celebration in the first game of the Brazilian team. The most populous neighborhood in RS, where striker Raphinha grew up, will gather in a festive atmosphere to watch Brazil's debut and support the player trained in the community.
With more than 60 thousand inhabitants, the neighborhood is proud to have revealed an athlete who today wears the number 11 shirt for the Brazilian team. Even with her career built outside the country, Raphinha maintains her connection with the place where she grew up:

"Restinga is my home. The place where I grew up, where I was born", said Raphinha in an interview with RBS TV in December 2025.
His international career, with stints in Portugal, France, England and currently in Spain, led the striker to his second participation in the World Cup.
This Saturday, Brazil plays against Morocco at 7pm Brasília time.
