The Public Ministry of Bahia (MP-BA) is investigating possible irregularities following the expansion of the spaces that make up the Blue Zone in Salvador.
The information was published in the Justice Gazette on Thursday (11). The changes were published by the Traffic Superintendence (Transalvador) on May 5th.
According to the MP-BA, despite the new adjustments, the body did not correct problems that had already been highlighted in previous ordinances.

Among the flaws highlighted are the difficulty in paying the fare, the inadequacy of the system to perform the service and the reduced number of authorized custodians as an alternative for drivers.

The alleged irregularity is described as an abusive practice in a consumer relationship. In addition to the transit agency, the MP-BA ordinance mentions Salvador City Hall.
