Amazonas has 246 vacancies for the new simplified selection process of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Registration began this Friday (12th) and continues until July 1st.
Registration must be done online and costs R$53. Salaries range from R$2,128 to R$4,008, with benefits such as food allowance of R$1,192, transportation allowance, vacation and proportional 13th salary.
The vacancies are for administrative, operational, supervisory and technological support functions linked to the census. Tasks include monitoring data collection, coordinating teams of census takers, providing information technology support and organizing collection points.

Most of the opportunities are for the position of supervisory census agent, which has 92 vacancies in the state. The distribution is as follows:
Supervisory Census Agent (ACA) – 92 vacancies;
Regional Census Agent (ACR) – 37 vacancies;
Regional Operational Agent (AOR) – 37 vacancies.

According to the notice, the contracts will have an initial duration of up to 12 months, and may be extended according to IBGE's needs and budget availability.
