PRF finds human bones and ashes in suitcase inside bus on BR-020, in DF The Federal Highway Police (PRF) found, on the afternoon of this Friday (12), a human bone and ashes being transported irregularly on a bus on BR-020, in Planaltina, in the Federal District. ✅ Click here to follow the g1 DF channel on WhatsApp. The material was inside a suitcase in the luggage compartment and did not have any documentation authorizing transport. 🔎According to Anvisa, to transport human bones or ashes in Brazil, it is necessary to have a series of documents, such as a death certificate and health authorization, in addition to packaging the material in an appropriate urn. The approach occurred during inspection of a tourist bus that was traveling between São Paulo (SP) and Guaribas (PI). According to the PRF, the luggage had been shipped in the capital of São Paulo and its final destination was the city of Campo Alegre de Lourdes (BA). Faced with the suspicious situation, the team decided to open the suitcase. Inside the luggage, the police found: construction tools a plastic box with unidentified human bones and a package with human ashes, accompanied by a label with a woman's name. Without the legal and health documentation required for the transport of human remains, the material was seized. The bus driver and the case were sent to the 16th DP (Planaltina) for investigation.
