The Director General of Rural Affairs and Kerman Provincial Councils emphasized the need to preserve the art of carpet weaving and transfer it to the future generations. He said: "The main treasure of Esfandeh is not mining and pistachios, but hardworking people who weave the red rose carpet with heart and soul. Therefore, allocation of special insurance quota for carpet weavers, payment of income-generating facilities to villagers and the program "Smile of the World to Kerman 1405" will be prioritized for the development of rural tourism in this region.
