Cuba announces a large package of economic reforms to open tourism, foreign trade and investments

President Miguel Díaz-Canel advanced the measures, given the deep crisis on the island. More space will be given to the private sector and some restrictions in the real estate and rural areas will be relaxed, among other reforms.
