Direction After the impact, the truck was stuck to the train and the cabin was destroyed. There was no explosion. Two people were in the cabin: the driver and a passenger. The men, aged 39 and 49, had minor injuries and were treated by the Fire Department. Professionals who work with chemical regulation identified a "small leak" in the cargo, according to Maicon Vicente Lima, a Civil Defense agent. Therefore, procedures were carried out to ensure the safety of teams and victims, such as the use of Foam Generating Liquid (LGE). Supergasbras reported that the injured employees received medical treatment and were discharged from hospital. Read in full: "The concessionaire informs that, at around 0:23 am this Friday (12/6), a truck transporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) ran the red signal synchronized with the railway and crossed the train's right of way, in Jandaia do Sul (PR). Immediately after the incident, the company activated its emergency protocols and mobilized teams to the scene, working together with the Fire Department, Federal Highway Police, Civil Defense and other competent bodies. Due to the nature of the cargo transported, all necessary preventive measures were adopted to guarantee the safety and isolation of the area. The truck's occupants were rescued by rescue teams and taken to medical care. Railway circulation and road traffic resumed throughout the morning.
