IBGE: vacancies for professionals throughout Brazil Tânia Rêgo/Agência Brasil/FILE The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) opened registrations this Friday (12) for a new simplified selection process aimed at carrying out the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census. In total, 8,238 temporary vacancies are offered in five functions, with salaries ranging between R$2,128 and R$4,008, in addition to benefits. The opportunities are distributed throughout the country and cover administrative, operational, supervision and technological support activities linked to the execution of research, considered one of the main sources of information on Brazilian agricultural production. Registration must be made exclusively online, through the website of the Brazilian Institute of Training and Training (IBFC), the panel responsible for selection. The deadline started at 10am this Friday and continues until 11pm on July 1st, Brasília time. The registration fee is R$53 for all functions. There are also 1,110 vacancies for Administrative Census Agent, 1,089 for IT Census Agent, 948 for Regional Operational Agent and another 948 for Regional Census Agent. All positions require a high school diploma. For the roles of Regional Operational Agent, Regional Census Agent and Supervisory Census Agent, it is also necessary to have a valid National Driving License (CNH) category B. In addition to salaries, those hired will be entitled to food allowance of R$1,192, transportation allowance, pre-school allowance, proportional vacations and proportional 13th salary. The selected professionals will work in different stages of the census operation. Among the expected responsibilities are monitoring data collection in the field, coordinating teams, managing census stations, providing technical IT support and administrative activities related to the organization of the research. The contracts will have an initial duration of up to 12 months and may be extended according to the needs of the operation and budget availability. Those hired will work 40 hours a week, divided into eight hours a day. The selection will be made through an objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature. Candidates must choose, at the time of registration, the role, the location of the competition and the municipality where they intend to take the test. The notice also provides for reservation of vacancies for people with disabilities, black or brown people, indigenous people and quilombolas. Of the total opportunities, 5% are allocated to candidates with disabilities, 25% to black or brown people, 3% to indigenous people and 2% to quilombolas.
