Two employees of a utility store in Batatais (SP) and the boyfriend of one of them were arrested in the early hours of Friday (12) on suspicion of stealing a bag of R$30,000 from the establishment. A fourth person, suspected of involvement in the crime, is at large. The three were approached by the Civil Police when they were still sleeping. The action had the operational support of the Batatais Metropolitan Civil Guard and the Special Operations Group (GOE) of Franca (SP). According to the Police, the robbery took place on May 4th of this year. Information about the store's routine was provided by two employees. "Two of the members of the criminal association were employees of the victim establishment itself, a circumstance that indicates the use of privileged information to facilitate the criminal action."
