Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis defended the "calm waters" policy that has been maintained with Türkiye for the last three years and said that the important thing is to prevent and manage crises. Stating that cooperation on migration has been achieved thanks to the dialogue with Türkiye and that Turkish tourists provide economic contribution to the Aegean islands, Mitsotakis stated that he does not believe that the Türkiye-Israel tension will turn into a regional conflict. Regarding relations with Israel, he gave the message: "We are in alliance with the state of Israel, not with the Israeli government."
