The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is implementing new regulations to prevent fake subscriptions known as "hot lines". With the regulation planned to come into force on June 25, the obligation to verify identity in subscription transactions will be increased. Identity confirmation will be made through methods such as face verification, fingerprint or e-Government. Subscriptions that will be audited quarterly and those that cannot be verified will be closed. In addition, the number of lines that can be opened on behalf of one person will be limited to 6 for Turkish citizens, 3 for foreigners and 1 for tourists.
