Public transport is completely paralyzed, with no plans to return. Workers ask for salary adjustment. The category reported that, to date, no proposals have been presented to the workers' demands, delivered on April 16 of this year. In a statement, SOU Limeira, the company that operates buses in the city, reported that the strike occurred before the deadline set by law and without enough time to organize an emergency plan. According to the union, May 1st is the base date for the category, when representatives of workers and companies meet to define salary adjustments and discuss new benefits or improvements in working conditions. Faced with the lack of answers, the workers decided, in a general meeting, to go on "strike". The measure provides for a period of 72 hours from the publication of the statement before the total shutdown.
