Sudan.. Secondary certificate exams deepen fears of division

Less than two months after the conclusion of the Sudanese secondary school certificate exams qualifying for university entrance in the areas controlled by the army, the authority affiliated with the “Establishment” coalition organized similar exams in the areas under its control in the west of the country, in a move that renewed fears that the current war would lead to the perpetuation of a new division in Sudan, which lost about a third of its area after the secession of South Sudan in 2011.
