Members of the International Labor Organization (ILO) on Friday adopted the first-ever international treaty to protect all platform workers at the heart of the digital economy. This convention may apply to all workers in the platform economy, "irrespective of [their] qualification with regard to employment status", according to the text adopted by ILO members.
