Emergency landing of Indigo flight in Lucknow: Bomb threat found written on tissue paper in toilet

An Indigo flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi via Lucknow made an emergency landing in Lucknow on Friday. The plane was still in the air when a tissue paper was found in the toilet, on which bomb was written. After this the pilot informed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and asked for permission for emergency landing. ATC alerted the airport authority and security agencies, then gave permission for landing. After this, the flight (6E-2111) landed at Lucknow Airport at 11:15 am. All 180 passengers and their luggage were then deboarded. The checking went on for about an hour. Bomb disposal squad and personnel from other agencies examined the plane. The dog squad checked each and every luggage of the passengers. However, no suspicious object has been found. All the passengers were seated in the plane. The plane left for Delhi at 2:40. Many people including former IPS BP Ashok had to go to Delhi by this plane. See the pictures- Indigo spokesperson said-

Earlier, on October 19, 2024, a bomb threat was received in a Star Air flight going from Lucknow to Kishangarh, Ajmer. The plane was immediately stopped after the threat. 11 days later, i.e. on 30 October 2024, two Indigo Airlines flights 6E-518 (Delhi-Lucknow) and 6E-1416 (Abu Dhabi-Lucknow) received a bomb threat. The security personnel took possession of the planes and investigated them, but nothing suspicious was found there. The news is being updated continuously….
