Uberaba
In Uberaba, the operation of commerce on Brazilian team game days will be at the discretion of each company. According to the Uberaba Retail Trade Union (Sindicomércio), there will be no definition of a single schedule for the sector, and it will be up to employers and employees to reach an agreement.
The measure applies to street commerce, shopping centers, supermarkets, grocery stores, animal nutrition stores, fruit and vegetable stores and butchers.
Uberaba Shopping
Shopping Uberaba will have special opening hours for stores and kiosks, which will close an additional 30 minutes before the start of Brazil's matches: they close at 6:30 pm on June 13th and 24th and at 9 pm on June 19th. The Food Court and restaurants will maintain normal operation from 10am to 10pm.
Uberaba Shopping Square
Praça Uberaba Shopping Uberaba will also have special opening hours for stores and kiosks on game days in Brazil. They will close at 6:30 pm on 1 pm and June 24th and at 9 pm on June 19th. The Food Court will operate normally, from 10am to 10pm.
Uberlândia
According to CDL Uberlândia, there is no guidance for changes to street commerce opening hours during the first phase of the World Cup. As Brazil's games will be held at night, the expectation is that the routine of establishments and workers will be maintained normally.
Center Shopping
The Center Shopping will have special opening hours on the days of the Brazilian team's matches in the first phase of the World Cup. Stores and kiosks will close one hour before the start of each match and will not reopen after the game. Therefore, on June 13th and 24th the stores close at 6pm and on June 19th at 9pm.
The operation of the Food Court will be optional. Table-service restaurants, such as Outback and Coco Bambu, may choose to remain open during matches and broadcast the games to customers.
Uberlândia Shopping
Uberlândia Shopping will also have special opening hours. Shops and kiosks will close 30 minutes earlier on match days, at 6:30 pm on June 13th and 24th and 9 pm on June 19th and will not reopen after the game.
Uberlândia Central Terminal
The Central Terminal will have special opening hours on the days of matches for the Brazilian team in the first phase of the 2026 World Cup. The stores will be open until 6pm on the 13th and 24th of June, on the 19th there will be no changes.
Services at the Food Court continue as normal, until 10pm and the parking lot at the location will also not change its opening hours.
Public transport
Uberlândia City Hall informed that for the first game, on the 13th, there will be no reduction in the bus fleet, as they already run on a reduced Saturday schedule. Changes will be informed at each match.
