After the accident, the victim was immediately rescued and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Bom Despacho. However, due to the severity of the injuries, the child did not survive and died. Driver was taken to the police station The Military Police were called and carried out the first investigations into the case. The 52-year-old truck driver was arrested and taken to the Civil Police, where the incident was recorded. The technical expertise of the Civil Police was at the scene of the accident to carry out investigation work and collect information that will help in determining the circumstances of the accident.
