A competition awards this Thursday (11) the three streets in Boa Vista most decorated for the 2026 World Cup. The competition, called "Cup on the Streets with Parima", has 10 finalists from neighborhoods in the West zone and was promoted by Grupo Parima (see photos of the streets below).
🏆 The initiative was created to encourage the decoration of streets with themes linked to football and the World Cup, which starts this Thursday. Considered the largest in history, the competition will be played by 48 teams, with games in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Brazil is looking for its sixth world title.
🇧🇷 There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The winners will receive barbecue kits with picanha, soft drinks and beers. The winning street will also receive an LED panel to broadcast Brazil's first game in the World Cup. The team debuts on Saturday (13) against Morocco.

The ten finalists were chosen through voting on Grupo Parima's official Instagram. The three winning streets will be chosen by a team defined by the organizers and announced at an event on Thursday night.
The criteria for choosing the three best will be creativity, organization, originality and suitability for the theme.
In total, the competition received entries from 52 two streets. Of these, 24 completed the decoration within the competition rules. The director of the Parima group, Ianna Borges, said that participation in the competition was above projections.
"We said: if at least five streets sign up. When we saw 52 streets signed up, it was much more than we expected," he said.
The competition was launched in May and received entries between the 13th and 25th. Participating streets had until June 5th to complete the decorations, which could include flags, paintings, banners, lighting and other football-inspired elements.
