The reference price of gas will increase by 7.4% (+2.7 euros including tax) on July 1 for 60% of residential gas subscribers, or 6 million French households. This increase comes after a 4.8% decline in the benchmark price on June 1. Electricity bills will increase slightly in August for the more than 20 million subscribers at the regulated rate: around 1%.
