According to the municipality's Civil Protection and Defense Coordination, the small plane took off at 11:13 am and crashed shortly thereafter on an athletic association field, next to the airport runway.

The Fire Department confirmed that two people died and one was injured. She was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to the region's emergency room.
The Ponzan Alimentos group confirmed that the aircraft belonged to the company and that the pilot, who died in the accident, was one of its employees.
"To date, the causes of the accident have not been officially confirmed. The circumstances of the occurrence are being investigated by the competent bodies and authorities, and the company is following developments with attention, responsibility and full collaboration", said the group, in a statement.
