Jean Ziegler, figure of the Swiss left and critic of capitalism, died at 92

Sociologist, writer, professor at the University of Geneva and UN diplomat, he distinguished himself by his denunciation of “cannibalistic” capitalism, inequalities and the sometimes controversial role of the Swiss financial center.
