The Civil Police seized around 2,000 counterfeit shirts from the Brazilian team in a bus intercepted on Tuesday night (9), on Via Dutra, in Piraí, in the south of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the corporation, the cargo was on a bus that had left São Paulo bound for Rio de Janeiro. The vehicle was intercepted after an investigation that indicated the transport of illegal goods to supply irregular commerce in the capital and the Metropolitan Region.
During the inspection, agents found a large quantity of counterfeit clothing, including pieces from football clubs and shirts from the Brazilian national team. All material was seized.
Also according to the Civil Police, 24 people who were on the bus were taken to the police station and had their data recorded by investigators.

The action was carried out by police officers from the 17th DP (São Cristóvão), with support from teams from the 28th DP (Praça Seca) and the 44th DP (Inhaúma).
The material will undergo forensic examination. The police are now investigating the origin of the goods and who would be responsible for distributing the products in the state.
