According to the Military Police, a team was carrying out routine approaches to vehicles and people when they saw the man driving the motorcycle. According to the PM, the driver tried to flee and even directed the vehicle towards one of the soldiers, but was restrained. When questioned, the man stated that he was transporting the ammunition to a place in the community of São João, in the rural area. Camouflage clothing, two radios and a knife were found on the motorcycle. According to the PM, the police also asked him if he had any weapons and the man replied that he had a shotgun, which was hidden on a rural property. During searches in the indicated location, a barrel with objects used for hunting was found in the middle of the vegetation. The weapon was not located. During the inspection, the military found that the motorcycle had delayed licensing. The vehicle was seized and removed to an accredited yard. The man was arrested and taken**, together with the seized materials,** to the Civil Police station on duty in Montes Claros.
