“If it was anti-competitive, we would have said so”: the president of the Competition Authority does not close the door to the takeover of SFR by the three other operators but nothing is done yet

The proposed takeover of SFR by Orange, Free and Bouygues could mark a turning point in the European competition doctrine, more open to concentrations to create more powerful players, but its approval remains uncertain because the authorities will closely examine its effects on competition, prices and real benefits for consumers.
