According to the municipal administration, the death occurred on Tuesday night (9). The reason for death was not disclosed by the family. In a statement, the city hall expressed its regret and offered solidarity to the family, friends and co-workers. Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB) also paid tribute to Pelizzoni's career in public service. "Clodoaldo was an extremely qualified and dedicated public servant, as well as a kind colleague to everyone around him. Throughout his career, he had an outstanding performance, especially in the area of ​​transport, of which he was deeply knowledgeable and studious. During our administration, he left an important contribution to the city's planning, including the structuring of the capital's climate budget, today the most complete in the country. His departure also represents a great loss for public administration", stated the mayor. Graduated in Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP), Clodoaldo Pelizzoni had specializations in strategic management, public administration, public-private partnerships and concessions. Over more than 30 years of career, he worked in different areas of state and municipal public administration. During his work in the state government, he led projects focused on mobility and infrastructure in São Paulo. At São Paulo City Hall, Pelizzoni assumed the position of deputy secretary of government in 2023. In 2025, he began to command the Municipal Secretariat of Planning and Efficiency. According to the municipal administration, its performance was marked by contributions to the improvement of public management, the strengthening of strategic planning and the search for more efficiency in municipal administration. Among the most recent works coordinated by Pelizzoni is the climate budget of the capital of São Paulo, identified by City Hall as a national reference in the incorporation of environmental criteria into public planning.
