Now mom, makeup artist Tainara Aranda, who went viral on social media when she shared the discovery of her pregnancy at eight months after mistaking it for gas, is amused to remember that she even consulted artificial intelligence to find out what the discomfort felt in her abdomen was. According to her, the tool confirmed that these were symptoms of constipation.
To EPTV, a TV Globo affiliate, the makeup artist said that, after she discovered she was pregnant, she drew the tool's attention, saying that the diagnosis was wrong (see video above).
"When I found out [about the pregnancy], I told him 'chat, I'm pregnant'. I was still mad at him, because he made a mistake. But of course we don't have to look for a diagnosis on the internet."

Tainara, who is from Serrana (SP), spent her pregnancy thinking she had gas. As she was taking contraceptives and has a constipation, she didn't suspect anything.
The husband was the first to raise the possibility that the makeup artist could be pregnant, but only in the last weeks of the pregnancy. Baby Clarice, the couple's first daughter, was born in the early hours of Monday (8).
"Before my husband spoke, I had already seen the GPT chat, asking about symptoms, saying 'I'm feeling this and this, what do you think it could be?' He said 'constipation'."

The makeup artist says that the way she reported the symptoms to the AI could have generated countless interpretations and said that she did not give up a doctor's appointment immediately after discovering the pregnancy. Tainara did not experience any nausea during pregnancy, nor did she feel her body swell, something characteristic of pregnancy.
"It [the AI tool] said it was a constipation, because of the way I reported it. Because, really, it was when I ate, that I felt a little something or other, but nothing more."

The story gained prominence on social media when Tainara posted a video sharing the unusual discovery. The publication already has more than 3.5 million views on Instagram.
Clarice's arrival was scheduled for the end of the month, but the baby was brought forward a few weeks to the joy of the new mother. The name was chosen by his father, in honor of the writer Clarice Lispector. Tainara and her husband have been married for seven years.
"The anxiety was already there to meet. We wonder 'who will it look like?' And then I joke 'I hope he looks like me, not like his father'".
After the birth, which took place at the Hospital das Clínicas in Ribeirão Preto, mother and daughter are doing well. The baby was born healthy and weighing 2.6 kg.

Focus on weight loss and pregnancy
Tainara says that plans to have children did not cross her mind, although her husband always talked about expanding the family.
In September 2025, she decided to put an end to her sedentary lifestyle, joined a gym and changed her diet in search of weight loss and improved quality of life.
Since then, life has continued with positive results on the scale, 20 kg have been eliminated. Little did she know that at the same time she decided to adopt healthier habits, she became pregnant.
"No one suspected. My mother is the mother of three, my father is the father of six, and no one looked at me and said that I looked pregnant or had a pregnant belly, at any time. Quite the contrary, everyone said: 'Wow, how you're losing weight, look how your body has changed.' Suspicion raised by husband
In May of this year, during a coffee at her mother-in-law's house, her husband said that her belly was more rounded, like that of a pregnant woman. Tainara had even commented that she was feeling different movements.
"I felt something moving in my stomach, but it was gas."
After this episode, the makeup artist went to a pharmacy to buy laxative and decided to take a pregnancy test.
"I said 'I'm going to do it out of conscience'. But I was sure it was going to be negative. Then when I did it, both things went up, and then the house fell on me. Then I was like: 'yeah, I'm pregnant'".
Until then, the surprise of discovering the pregnancy seemed normal. But during the examination at the first consultation, Tainara was informed by the doctor that she was already in her 8th month.
"Until then, I thought it was two, three months, at most. A pregnancy that advanced had never crossed my mind. My husband was super happy when he found out. Then after he found out it was eight months, he got scared, he said: 'damn, I have to run more now than ever to get everything done'".
