Shootings in Paraisópolis leave one injured The Paraisópolis region, in the South Zone of São Paulo, was the scene of two exchanges of gunfire that mobilized Military Police teams on Tuesday night (9). According to preliminary information from the 16th Metropolitan Military Police Battalion (BPMM), the first incident was recorded during an action by Tactical Force teams and other vehicles in the community, in an armed confrontation that resulted in one person being shot. A short time later, a second exchange of gunfire occurred nearby. During the new attack, a public transport bus was hit by gunfire, according to the PM.
