From local sufficiency to external expansion... Algeria is strengthening its energy influence in Africa

The head of the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, Noureddine Salmi, confirmed that Algeria has consolidated its position as a leading energy pole in Africa, thanks to achieving high rates of energy coverage, as the rate of access to electricity reached 99 percent, while the rate of connection to gas reached 75 percent of the population.
