Restaurant kitchen catches fire and threatens to hit neighboring hotel in MT A fire hit a restaurant in the early hours of Monday (8), in the district of Primaverinha, in Sorriso, 420 km from Cuiabá. Upon arriving at the scene, the Fire Department (CBMMT) found the restaurant on fire. According to firefighters, the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the store's storage room. The teams began fighting the flames to prevent the fire from reaching other areas of the property and also to a hotel located next to the restaurant. Two vehicles were used in the incident, and around 5 thousand liters of water were used to fight the fire and in the aftermath.
