According to the police report, Kaique was admitted to the hospital in a very serious condition and suffered several cardiorespiratory arrests. During the escape, the car traveled the wrong way along José Bonifácio, Bento Carlos and Nove de Julho streets and, on Avenida São Carlos, crashed into a Ford Fiesta. With the impact, the vehicle hit Kaique, who was in the gap between two parked cars. Even after the collision, the driver continued driving for about a block, until he lost control of the wheel and crashed into a BMW X1. After the collision, the vehicle's occupants were detained. "He lost steering and ended up colliding and between this first vehicle and the second was the 21-year-old victim. At that moment he ended up dragging the victim. And, afterwards, the car collided with the third vehicle, at which time he was approached and everyone was detained", reported the delegate. "He [driver] took the risk of producing the result, which is a crime of common danger, and not only in relation to this victim who was fatal, but all the others who were on Avenida São Carlos. I also charged the other two for possession and together with the co-authorship, and also for the corruption of minors, because there was a minor inside the vehicle", said the delegate. The victim's body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of São Carlos. The burial is scheduled for Tuesday (9), at the Nossa Senhora do Carmos Cemetery, in São Carlos.
