12th edition of the Resende Book Fair will have the theme 'The Word is a Right' Reproduction/Social Media Resende (RJ) will host another edition of the Resende Book Fair (FLIR). This year, the event's theme is ''The Word is a Right'' and takes place between the 11th and 14th of June (Thursday to Sunday), at the Resende Exhibition Park, from 9am to 9pm. Entry is free and there are programs for the whole family. FLIR brings together literature, art, education and cultural experiences, and is carried out by Look Mídia and the Ministry of Culture, through the Federal Culture Incentive Law. With the theme "The Word is a Right", this year's fair highlights reading, writing and access to knowledge as fundamental instruments of citizenship, education and social transformation. The patron of this edition is the writer José Ezequiel Freire de Lima, who is a Brazilian poet, chronicler, journalist and intellectual. He marked national literature with his elegant and sensitive writing, worked as editor of Correio Paulistano, professor of rhetoric, judge and author of the work Flores do Campo. Ezequiel Freire is also recognized as one of the great names in Resendense literary production. During the fair, the public will be able to visit a special exhibition dedicated to his life and work.
