Known in Anápolis, in the central region of Goiás, for working in the custom furniture sector, Ranyer faced grade 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain tumor, for four years, according to his family. He was married and had no children. The businessman died at home. In an interview with reporter Sylvester Carvalho, the businessman's brother, Hans Gustavo Barbosa de Bessa, said that Ranyer was a person admired by family, friends and co-workers and that he maintained his joy even during treatment for the disease.
