The President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, on Monday requested the inclusion on the Parliament's agenda of the transpartisan "comprehensive law" on gender-based and sexual violence, in response to the Lyhanna affair. “I ask the government, the President of the Republic, to include (...) this comprehensive bill co-signed by more than 100 deputies on the agenda of the extraordinary session which will be submitted to the National Assembly either in July or in September,” said MP Renaissance des Yvelines, at the opening of a press conference at the Assembly of the sponsors of the bill.
