The Salvador Bus Station SAC has extended its opening hours and will now operate from Monday to Friday from 7am to 9pm. Previously, services were offered from 7am to 4pm. On Saturdays, opening hours remain the same: from 8am to 12pm. In addition to the timetable, there are also changes to the service modality, which will become hybrid: From 7am to 4pm, it is first-come, first-served, with limited distribution of tickets. All services will be on a first-come, first-served basis, except for the Judicial Assistance Service (SAJ), which is by appointment. From 4pm until 9pm, as well as on Saturdays, it is by prior appointment, through the application or portal ba.gov.br. On Saturdays, it is 100% by appointment!!! During these extended hours, it will only work for the National Identity Card (CIN). SAC Rodoviária began operations on January 20, 2026 and recorded 33,700 services during the first four months of activity. The 14th sac network station in Salvador demonstrates high operational capacity with a daily average of almost 450 calls per day. The National Identity Card is the centerpiece of the post, responsible for around 24 thousand services, which represents around 70% of the total volume carried out.
