Threatened beaches and worried residents...an environmental crisis is worsening in Tunisia

Along the Tunisian coast, the threat of marine pollution resulting from the discharge of industrial water and sewage is worsening, leaving increasing environmental, health and economic repercussions, amid warnings from activists and environmental experts that the crisis has reached levels that threaten the environmental balance, marine life and the livelihoods of thousands of citizens.
