Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader for international affairs, warned today, Monday, of the repercussions of the Israeli escalation in Lebanon, considering that “the recent attack on Beirut and the violation of the ceasefire constituted the beginning of a sequential response, which Tehran had expected in advance,” as he put it.
