During the investigations, an intense movement of people was observed near the residence of one of the people being investigated, many of them already known in the police circle for involvement in drug use. During patrol, the police approached a young woman who appeared nervous when she noticed the vehicle approaching. With her, the amount of R$815 was found. Initially, she presented a version about the origin of the money, but later stated that the amount came from drug sales carried out by her brother. The young woman indicated that the drugs were hidden in places used by the group, including an abandoned house and a forested area. Now on g1 During the investigation, one of the suspects took the police to a point in the rural area, on a hillside with dense forest, on the banks of the access road to a stream. At the scene, the military found a plastic barrel buried next to the root of a tree, hidden in a hole in the ground. Inside the container, 45 marijuana bushes were found, already fractionated and ready for sale; eight rocks of crack; a precision scale and packaging used to package drugs. According to the PM, part of the drug had also been previously hidden in an abandoned house. After seizing the material and collecting information throughout the incident, the three young people were arrested for drug trafficking and association with drug trafficking. They were taken to the hospital for forensic examinations and, later, taken to the Governador Valadares Civil Police Station.
