No respite in the war between Lebanon and Israel despite a ceasefire agreed under American leadership which remains ineffective. Reciprocal attacks between the Israeli army and Hezbollah did not stop all day, coupled with ground fighting in the Nabatiyé district. Israeli strikes left 20 dead in twenty-four hours, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The Israeli Prime Minister claimed that his army had eliminated more than 350 Hezbollah fighters in a week. The escalation reached a peak in the middle of the day with the resumption of raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Israel claims to have targeted a Hezbollah headquarters.
