The political contest for the third seat of Rajya Sabha in Madhya Pradesh has intensified. After getting the green signal from Delhi, BJP has also decided to field a third candidate. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha candidate from Congress, Meenakshi Natarajan will file nomination in Bhopal on June 8. The final agreement regarding BJP's third candidate was reached in an hour-long meeting at the CM House on Sunday. Documents of two leaders have also been prepared. The party can declare the name of the candidate as soon as Meenakshi Natarajan files her nomination. Earlier on Saturday afternoon, BJP candidates Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Aggarwal had filed nominations. A meeting of the BJP legislature party was held at the Chief Minister's residence at night. In this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had instructed all the MLAs to stay in Bhopal till June 8. Many leaders including BJP State President reached CM House on Sunday.
