Security cameras recorded the moment in which the car skidded, hit two motorcycles and then collided against a structure that supports the columns of the Expresso Tiradentes, in addition to passing just a few meters from hitting another motorcycle that was traveling along the road. In the police report, the delegate responsible for the case said that the elements obtained so far indicate that the driver was above the permitted limit: "According to reports from the parties involved and according to the information obtained so far, the person under investigation was driving a Porsche, initially at high speed, and lost control of the steering wheel, hitting two motorcycles and two cars on the road." Fábio took a breathalyzer test and the result was negative for alcohol consumption. The case was registered as negligent bodily injury while driving a motor vehicle. Witnesses reported high speed The suspicion of speeding also appears in the reports of witnesses and drivers involved in the accident. The driver who was driving a Fiat Palio hit in the collision told police officers that he heard the noise of the first crashes and, when looking in the rear view mirror, saw the Porsche approaching "at high speed" before hitting his vehicle. Another witness, the driver of a Honda Civic involved in the accident, stated that he heard a loud bang and was then hit from the side by the Porsche. According to him, the force of the crash was enough to throw his car against a protective wall and tear off one of the vehicle's wheels. According to the police report, the influencer stated that he had left his gym and was heading along Avenida do Estado when he entered Avenida das Juntas Provisórias. "The driver of the Porsche vehicle, identified as Fabio Augusto Rezende, declared that he was traveling along the viaduct towards Rua das Juntas Provisórias when, while passing through a ditch on the road, he lost control of the steering wheel, initially colliding against a wall", says the police record. "It then hit the two motorcycles and, later, two cars." The impact caused the vehicle to spin, hit other cars and, subsequently, collide against a structure located on the right side of the road, which ended its journey. Fábio also stated that he provided assistance to the victims, activated the rescue team and remained at the scene after the accident. He also reported that he was accompanied by influencer Bitelo, who was in the passenger seat and was not injured. According to the statement, Bitelo left the place after the accident due to the crowd of people who approached to take photos with the influencers and returned to the gym. In a statement, the bodybuilder's defense stated that he adopted a collaborative stance from the beginning of the incident, carried out the breathalyzer test, provided assistance to the victims and will continue to offer support to those involved. The lawyers also said that the investigation must take place "with serenity, responsibility and compliance with due legal process", avoiding hasty conclusions about the causes of the accident. Victims According to the Traffic Engineering Company (CET), two motorcyclists were injured and were taken to health units in the region. According to the incident report, one motorcyclist was taken to UPA Sacomã, and the other to UPA Ipiranga. The police reported that, preliminarily, none of them presented a risk of death.
